    One study found that women spend three times as long on domestic chores, such as cooking, cleaning and washing, as their husbands or partners. Another found that women do three more hours of domestic work each week than men.

     

    This imbalance can lead to both women and men having less time to connect with their partners or children—or men, in particular, not feeling as involved as they may want to be at home.
